District 28 offers a full continuum of special education services.  Special education is instruction or related services provided to students by special education personnel, or by a general education program that has been enhanced by special education support services or supplementary aids.  We are committed to cultivating a positive learning environment where all students can work to reach their potential in academic, social and emotional areas.



District 28 is a member district of the Northern Suburban Special Education district (NSSED).  This partnership allows District 28 to take advantage of the high quality services, supports, and programs offered by NSSED.
