The record rains on the weekend of September 13-14 created approximately 1-2 inches of flooding on the lower level of Northbrook Junior High. Board Member Melissa Paull, chair of the Buildings and Grounds Committee, and Superintendent Larry Hewitt recently commended the District’s entire custodial staff for their hard work during that time. Custodians from across the District collaborated on the clean-up effort, preventing damage and allowing school to start as usual the Monday after the storms.
